Best forEvercade fans who play on the go — especially vertical-shooter players.

Sold and shipped by Amazon. Price checked October 20, 2026 — the current price at checkout is the real one.

The EXP-R is Evercade in your hands: a 4.3-inch IPS handheld that plays the same licensed cartridges as the VS-R, with a TATE mode that flips the screen for vertical arcade games the way they were meant to be played.

Seen at $99.99 in current pricing tables; the EXP-R Solo’s announced MSRP is $119.99, and there are no built-in games — your cartridge collection is the library. Note this one is handheld-only: unlike the older EXP, there’s no TV-out.

This section’s prices were checked on October 23, 2026.
